The alarm went off at 8:00. It was raining and crazy windy, so we decided to wait out the worst inside the tent. Around 10, when we woke up again and found out, that the situation is much more favorable, we headed out to prepare our breakfast. We only have 12 km to go today, so we have no reason to rush.
The road is turning up and down like a roller coaster, we often climb uphill using all 4 limbs
There are snowy plains around us, the sun in starting to show after the morning fit of the sulks, so we take a lot of pics, vids and often stop just to stare and enjoy the view.
Towards the end of the day, when we have the hut in sight, we stop at a beautiful place for lunch. All we have left is a descend. There, we lose Arys in his flip-flops and arrive at today’s camping site. Since we are hiking through the national park since a few days, the places designated for overnight stays are quite crowded, so we each go our own way for a while, looking for some place of peace.
There is a huge lake near the camp, where we also decide to prepare dinner. The view was sensational, but the cold soon drove us away from the water.
There are showers, but the lake is free. We are divided into two parties, some people prioritize comfort over money. Since Alexis, the chocolate keeper, forgot to take it to the lake, we have a sweet treat at camp before bed.
