Day 17 – The end is close
After almost 11 hours of sleep, we wake up to our last hiking day. About 13 km and a lot of waterfalls ahead of us. The closer we are to civilization, the more people we meet, and we already don’t like it.

We overslept again. Maybe because of the polar light watching at night, maybe because we’ve already been on the go for 16 days, who knows. In addition, I broke the borrowed solar panel during hasty packing. What a start to the day.
We have breakfast in the warmth of the communal tent. According to the GPS, we have 20 km ahead of us, according to the sign in the campsite 15, but after previous experience we don’t trust them much.
We are starting to miss the northern part of Iceland. There are too many people in the south for our liking, who pitch their tents too close to ours, and wake us up too loud and too early in the morning.

Since yesterday ended with the discovery that one Jetboil has been left in the hotel, we split, yet again, into two groups.
